The Jungle Book

This past weekend SJBS put on its first ever (hopefully soon to be annual) theatre club performance of the musical, The Jungle Book. The theatre club, which consists of 18 students in grades 3-6, performed for over 300 students from SJBS and Cofradia Bilingual School (our neighboring bilingual school) on Friday and had a special performance for the parents on Saturday.
The production was nothing short of absolutely amazing. Mr. Greene, Ms. Andrea and Ms. Amy transformed the auditorium into a jungle paradise and the kids’ acting abilities were extremely impressive for their age, not to mention the fact that they are second-language speakers. Wow.
